In this department operates an MRI Tomographer which belongs to the latest generation and has strong magnetic field 1.5 Tesla and coils [receivers] of high resolution. The MRI tomographer applies new techniques by providing imaging of high diagnostic accuracy and at the same time there is spectacular improvement in the comfort of the patient during the examination.

The limitation of the examination time to 1/3 of the older machines with ability of retrospective reconstruction and multi phase techniques, the significant reduction of the noise, the improvement of comfort and the continuous audiovisual communication with the medical examiner, reduce significantly not only the stress and the agony of the patients in general, but also the stress and the agony of those who are claustrophobic.

Panoramic Tomography Department

The department is equipped with a high tech, complete Digital X ray Machine taking Panoramic Radiographies via a digital detector and imaging in the computer screen in order to be processed. It has special programs for taking Semi-Panoramic Radiographies of the jaws and Sinus of the adults - children in order to reduce the radiation dose especially for children. It has also the ability to take cephalometric radiographies. All the medical examinations have the ability of their further processing as well as their recording and storage to digital disks CD or DVD.

Μammography Department

The department is equipped with a digital mammographer of high resolution which belongs to the latest generation, in combination with the digital system CR of low dose radiation, high resolution and ability of zooming. All the medical examinations have the ability of their further processing as well as their recording and storage to digital disks CD or DVD.

Bone Mineral Density Measurement Department

The department has a high tech Osteodensitometer of the dual energy x-ray (DEXA) method, ensuring bone measurements of high accuracy & diagnoses of osteoporosis, to the most impaired bone groups.

Radiology Department

The medical examinations (body, thorax, ends, head etc.) are performed with a Radiography System of modern technology in combination with a digital system CR of low dose radiation, high resolution and ability of zooming.
