Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI) Department

In this department operates an MRI Tomographer which belongs to the latest generation and has strong magnetic field 1.5 Tesla and coils [receivers] of high resolution. The MRI tomographer applies new techniques by providing imaging of high diagnostic accuracy and at the same time there is spectacular improvement in the comfort of the patient during the examination. 

The limitation of the examination time to 1/3 of the older machines with ability of retrospective reconstruction and multi phase techniques, the significant reduction of the noise, the improvement of comfort and the continuous audiovisual communication with the medical examiner, reduce significantly not only the stress and the agony of the patients in general, but also the stress and the agony of those who are claustrophobic.
